Our training course for Wedding Celebrants is personalised on the style of ceremonies you want to offer. Choose how to create and narrate modern, alternative, spiritual, Pagan, life style or theatrical ceremonies
You will write 3 ceremonies as you are supported and guided through face to face, live video call training sessions. No videos, no pre-recorded materials.

A celebrant is someone who writes and performs ceremonies marking milestones, relationships, and achievements in life (and when someone has died).
A ceremonialist is a person who has been trained in creating and holding space, to write and perform ceremonies as a celebrant would, but also to create rituals. We train celebrants and ceremonialists.
Our wedding and the funeral courses involve 10 sessions, each up to 2 hours long. There is a 5 month completion date for either of these courses which can be extended on request.

Each course involves one to one, face to face, learning through a live video call. We do not train celebrants using videos or pre-recorded materials.
Currently, celebrants in England and Wales are unable to officiate legal marriage ceremonies. Celebrants ceremonies are about love, unity and relationships. Each one is unique and should be personalised.
Do you want a full time career or a part time role as a celebrant? Gaining work might not be as easy as others lead people to believe, but this can be the same in many jobs. We will inform you how to market your business, including advice on using social media, how to be successful at wedding fairs, how to engage with funeral directors and help you to start and grow your unique business.
Currently, there aren’t any nationally or internationally required qualifications needed to work as a celebrant. Our courses are designed to be rewarding in self-determination and personal achievement, awarding you with knowledge, relevant information and business marketing to be a successful celebrant.
Continuing support and advice when needed will always be given to those who train with us. We also support and advise many celebrants who did not train with us. We have a Facebook group for our community, you can get further information and support from this group when required.
Yes, we offer course fee concessions to all of our celebrant community.
No, we do not charge an annual membership to stay part of our Choice Celebrant Community.
