All courses are taught through live video call, face to face, 1-to-1 (no group training, no videos or pre-recorded training materials to watch). As a celebrant, interaction with people is part of the job, and we believe being able to interact with your trainer as you learn is an essential part of your learning experience.
All courses are informative and supportive, with guidance and advice given to enable you to start working once your training has ended.

Weekly Online Training
Online learning involves 10 weekly sessions, each lasting up to 2 hours. Weekly training is ideal for those who want to learn at scheduled times on a regular basis. Fitting around your current commitments, without any need to travel, or be away from home. Additional personal study and ceremony construction between sessions is part of your training

Accelerated Online Training
Accelerated Learning is 4.5 daily online sessions up to 7 hours long (with breaks), with a day inbetween for personal study. An intensive and rapid learning experience for those who want to compact their training into a shorter timeframe.
Exercises and ceremony construction completion in addition to daily sessions is required. Dates are arranged directly, please contact us for date availability.

Wedding Course Requirements
Celebrants require more than writing and speaking abilities. Our role is about people, because of people and being confident around others is beneficial.
We will work with you to help you develop the skills you will require to be a confident and proficient Wedding Celebrant.
You do not need any qualifications or experience to enrol on any of our courses.
What you will need is:
- enthusiasm
- dedication to learning in live sessions and to writing assigned tasks
- a PC/laptop/tablet with Word, Pages or Google Docs
- a good internet connection
Meet and Greet
Prior to commencement, you will have a meet and greet video call with your chosen tutor. During this call you can ask questions, get to know each other and make necessary arrangements should you require any personal learning aids or additional support during your course. Your first three sessions will be arranged.

The Role of the Celebrant
You will learn what is required to work in the role of a modern celebrant through the following detailed information.

Ceremony Structure and Construction
We will teach you all you need to know about how to write a ceremony including:
- ceremony timings
- how to gather information (we will provide you with conversational questions)
- ceremony design and creation
- how to include creative and client associated content
- how to create client personalised unity ceremonies
- how to include words written by others
- how to make each ceremony flow
- ceremony timeframes
- language translations, working with sign language translators
- how to write different styles of delivery for vows
- vow creation
- how to create and hold space and perform rituals (Pagan ceremonies only)
- music inclusion

How to Deliver a Ceremony
During the course you will deliver 3 ceremonies you have created to your Celebrant Trainer, who will provide feedback. We will train you in the delivery of a ceremony with information including:
- the pace of ceremony delivery
- how to speak with variation
- how to project your voice (there isn’t a need to buy a microphone at this stage)
- how to create and hold space
- how to overcome performance anxiety
- how to address unexpected occurrences
Should you need additional support, we have a course with advice and exercises to help when speaking in public as a celebrant.
Starting Your New Business
Starting a new business and being self-employed can be exciting and concerning if you haven’t done it before. We will give you all the information you need to start and maintain your new venture. Information includes:
- finding and developing your unique business identity and establishing your new business name
- your new website and branding (we have our own Graphic Designer and Web Builder and Developer should you need this help. Our community benefit from reduced fees)
- setting up your new email
- starting your business on social media
- how to blog and blogging tactics
- information on being a sole trader including registering your business and accounts
- information about tax and business expenses
- what you need in your celebrant kit
- ceremony prices and fees
- information about attending and showing at wedding fairs and events
- networking
- finding your clients and securing bookings

- recommended suppliers for ceremony materials and items

Support After Your Training
Once your training is over, we will guide and support you in your role as a Wedding Celebrant. There will be times when you might need advice, information, somebody to talk to or a second opinion. We become your mentor when your training has ended.
Once your course has been completed, we will post your certificate of completion to you.
