Meet Celebrant Trainer Ellie
I’m Ellie, (She/Her) the founder of Choice Celebrant Training. I live with my husband and daughter, Chorkie dog and owned by our two Devon Rex cats in Whitby.
I am an experienced, established, and original full time alternative celebrant. Handfasting, alternative ceremonies (also the name of my celebrant business; Alternative Ceremonies UK) and natural burials are the ceremonies I specialise in.
I have been training celebrants for over 12 years wedding and before I founded Choice Celebrant Training, I was the previous Senior Tutor for one of the UK’s largest celebrant training organisations.
Meet Celebrant Trainer Glenn
I’m Glenn (He/Him), also known as ‘That Celebrant Guy’ and I live in the North West with my partner and two wonderful little Lakeland Terriers.
I am an award winning, experienced and established celebrant, who has led weddings and life events. I am also a Wedding Host and skilled in speaking in public.
I am the tutor for our courses on wedding hosting training and speaking in public.
Also a funeral celebrant who has led many funerals, I prefer to create and led weddings, renewal of vows and life event ceremonies.
Meet Celebrant Trainer Nicky
Hello, I’m Nicky, (She/Her) I live with my partner and our 2 Border Collies just outside Glastonbury, in sight of Glastonbury Tor.
I am an experienced Funeral Celebrant who has led 100’s of ceremonies, I am also a Funeral Director, a Funeral Planner and a Certified Grief Coach.
I have been training and mentoring celebrants for over 4 years now and to be able to teach, help and support others within the funeral industry is rewarding and a positive experience. The funeral industry is changing quickly and funerals as we knew them have transformed into personal celebrations of life.
The funerals I have created and led have all been different. Traditional funerals, life centred celebrations, alternative funerals and life style celebrations. I have led many wedding ceremonies, but I prefer funerals.

Meet Graphic Designer and Website Designer Rob
I’m Rob, (He/Him) the creative tech guy at Choice Celebrant Training. I design, build, host, maintain and SEO celebrant websites. I also design and create business logos, advise on all aspects of branding, marketing, and social media.
I have been working in these industries for over 27 years, and as well as being a Graphic Designer and Web Designer/ Developer, I am also an established wedding and events photographer. Working with celebrants is part of my daily business life.
